Where Are We...And GIANTS!

Millers, Mellins, Walkers, Nicols, we are all weak. Some bloggers you are. And I''m the oldest cat in the hat and I need reciprocal blogging. And now to the most important fact...the Giants are coming. Keenan and I are going to Spring Training March 23-25. We'll scout and get back to you. Just think, we (0r some of us) will be listening to Giants' radio as we fall fast asleep at night. This is the year. You can quote me (all you want.)

I'm officially back to work... ugh... vacation=better life. But it's not all bad. Been working on new grant application and got my manuscript back with a pretty favorable review. next week, back to experiments. so duck for cover.

Attn Family: send me digital photos of yourselves and i'll get them all up on line, so that our site looks spiffy and delectable. or don't send me photos of yourselves and i'll pick out random ones from google to spoof you with. but i would wager that your image will likely suffer if left to my own ends.

otherwise, boston's extended summer seems to be coming to a close as i think my boogers officially froze for the first time today. and people willing choose to live here. amazing, no??

Not much action here. Kate is home safe and sound. Jeff, what goes with you? Flight back OK and all? H's surprise B/D was a blast. Keenan is a Union soldier in the Civil War reenactment. Looks pretty cute in his uniform. Hugs to all who read this. xxoo Mom

Tiger Mellin ties Bill Nicklaus

up 2 strokes going into the final hole... and the wheels came off. Man, but I didn't totally blow up. Bill and I tied at 58 for 9 holes, which pretty much sucks, but I'd like to point out that I played with wooden clubs as opposed to his carbon fiber, and there may have been some "liberal scoring" going on over on the other scorecard. I'm not saying anything **cough** **cough**, but I'm just saying ;-)

Off to Hawaii tommorrow, so the posts will be coming from sunny shores, but it's been a great time at home seeing the fam and kicking around the bay. Adios familia!

So Jeff and I are heading out to play a round of golf. Odds are that his youth will beat my years of deep experience. Isn't that the way it is? I know you won't be able to wait for the results. Likely the winner will post the scores!
